Youth America Grand Prix

Youth America Grand Prix
Friday, was a girls night for Dakota, Chey and I. We drove to Irving to watch the YAGP. It's the world's largest student ballet competition. The atmosphere was fun, but you could tell the dancers meant business. Over the course of 3 hours, we saw three dancers fall during their routine.

We stayed for several hours. I started off, sitting near the stage, but then I moved to a box seat, where I figured, we wouldn't be bothering or distracting the dancers, if Cheyenne started talking or Dakota started to fuss. We sat in the box seats for about an hour and then eventually, we moved to the very back of the theater. There weren't a ton of kiddos there, but there were enough, so I didn't feel strange taking mine. After all, it is a student ballet competition with ages ranging from 9 years old to 19.
