Head Shots for Trey's Business

I'm taking a quick break from my last Las Vegas post to share the awesomeness of husband and his business…
I'm super proud of him.

The guys plan on using some of these photos in their marketing - like website and brochures.
It's good to know a photographer….
And in the summer, I always say, it's good to know an HVAC Tech!

Shop Space for HVAC Work

Before leaving to go to Las Vegas, I composed a few post, that should publish --- while I'm out of town. Enjoy.

Check out Twin Temp's shop.

All I see is photography studio space. haha. I'm kidding. In the summer it will be too hot in there.

The shop is quiet spacious. A trailer and service van fit nicely and there's still room...

Looking Sharp & 7 Year Work Anniversary

Someone at Twin Temp is looking sharp. The boss ordered some new apparel. He even got the girls some pink shirts. I think this means they are now official employees. It's not child labor if they are your children, right?
The guys had a big job today that required a crane and trailer.
He's not the only one working.
Today, I got some b-roll of my nursing students. I've seen so many students graduate from this place. In May, I will celebrate my seven year work anniversary!!!!
Like any job, work has it's ups and downs, but I prefer to focus on the positives. I get to work with friendly people, I'm surrounded by college students who are a delight to be around, and I get paid to play.

Weekend Trip to Visit Family

This weekend we went to Abilene. Trey's parents sold their home and moved into a trailer, oh - and dad retired. His last day at work was Friday. We threw him a surprise party Saturday night at the Beehive. All the kids, mom and the grand-babies were there. Sunday evening, after they completely moved out of their home and were settled in the trailer, Mom sent us this picture of dad drinking wine.
The retired life.

Here are a few things we did while we were in Abielne. Trey did some HVAC service work to his parents house, (now old house).

Even when we're not home, Dakota WILL find a pantry (any pantry) and she WILL raid it! The girls and I stayed with my mom. Trey spent the night at his brothers. They stayed up until 1 am, playing video games. Yeah, I was in bed by 11 pm.

Some of the younger grand babies on the Anderson side.

Well, last week, I ran about 20 miles. I had planned on running some while I was in Abilene, but I forgot to pack my running shoes. Oh, well -- I enjoyed the rest.

My Week in Photos

Trey's service van wrapped!

Ladies night
Everyone brought a wedding photo and we had to guess who was who. We have a wide range of ages that attend ladies night. There were some wedding portraits that were 40 plus years old.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
What are your plans for tonight? I'm working a half-day and then Trey has something planned for us.
He's had this planned for over a month. All I know, is that it's a group date and we will be meeting friends downtown. Tonight, the girls we will be with friends, playing while we are out.

Major Changes - I'm Not the Only Entrepreneur in The Family

Next month, Trey will be working for a new company. It's his own business. This has been a 10 (plus) year journey. However, for the past year, he has been making huge steps to make this a reality, by taking exams, getting his LLC and more.

Looks like this is really happening! We are excited! I'm so proud of him.
This is going to be an adventure.

Like a Boss

Trey is being all humble and quiet over here, so I guess I'm going to be the one to share the good news. I want to celebrate his accomplishment and I'm sure you guys would like to celebrate with us.

So, here's the big news -- Trey has accepted a position as the Service Manager, for the company he works for. This is a huge deal!!!! I'm so proud of Trey.

Did you know Trey started off in the HVAC field when he was in high school? Originally, he wanted to study architecture and that was probably the path he was going to take, on through college --- Instead, he ended up in a high school HVAC class because it was the only one that worked with his schedule. He found out he was really good at it and he enjoyed it.

Trey started working for an HVAC company in Abilene when he was in high school, for a little over minimum wage. After graduating high school, he attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, he graduated and moved back to Abilene and that's what he's been doing ever since. He went from being an Installer, to  Service Technician and now Service Manager. Way to go Trey! You inspire me to do more! Seriously, what have I done with my life????  :)

My new nickname for Trey is Boss. Trey is working on a bid
This above picture was taken this past summer.
Trey's new position, will require him to do some work from home. Our little office nook is about to get some love.

HVAC Team Photos

This morning, I met with Trey and his co-workers at Cowboys Stadium parking lot. They wanted me to take a team photo of them for the company newsletter. The company Trey works for has multiple locations in the state of Texas. Each month they spotlight a region and I guess, its the DFW's turn.

Nothing says DFW like Cowboys Stadium. Gotta represent.

This last photo is my favorite. I was concerned about the morning sunrise and the harsh shadows, but we worked around it. I kind of had to...

Speaking of Cowboys Stadium, I'm so jealous -- Trey will be going to a Cowboys game this weekend, without me. He's going with the guys from his fantasy football team.

Hi-Tech Thermostat

Leave it up to Trey to bring home one of these thermostats. It's a little intimidating, but as long as I know the basics, I'll get by. He programmed it, based on our coming and goings.

It's all James Bond. This thermostat kind-of reminds me of a Modern Family episode.

Long Hours and Still Going

Trey has been on call the last few days. Yesterday he worked his normal shift and on top of that he had to work through the night and through the morning. He woke me up at 4 am to say he finally made it home. It's funny because he can work those long hours and still be in a good mood. I hope he's doing alright because he hasn't had any sleep. How does he do that?
