This weekend the girls and I went school shopping.
Doesn't Chey look so grown-up in her school uniform???We bought the majority of her outfits at Old Navy. We found a super cute jumper from The Children's Place.
Since, Trey was tied up with work, we decided to go out to eat at Yucatan Tacos. I've been wanting to try it for a few years, now. Trey's has never cared about trying it. I liked the chicken lime salad. Cheyenne didn't eat a thing, she didn't care for it. Dakota was like, whatever, it's food, I'm eating it.
Between the down time, running and family time --- it was a good weekend!

I Took a Selfie & Then I Grabbed a Baby #Le_Tote
I got my first Le Tote package today!!!!! and after seeing what they sent me, I have to say -- I'm pleased with their picks! They sent me 3 blouses and 2 accessories (necklace and a bracelet).
I took one selfie, but it felt more natural to hold a baby, so I grabbed one.

I really like this back! But seriously it took me like 10 minutes trying to figure out how to wear it. Does the opening go in the front or the back???? Eventually, I figured it out. Haha! If I absoultey fall in love with some of the merch, I have the option to buy.

Every package is a surprise. When I send this package back, hopefully by Thursday, my next package will also be a surprise. Next time, it could be a skirt, a blouse, and a dress with 2 accessories - Who knows.

I'm Giving Le Tote a Try & Some Oldies
Have you heard of Le Tote?

I'm trying to think of the best way to describe it...It's like Netflix, but for clothes. You get 3 garments and 2 accessories. You can keep them as long as you want or return them as soon as you want and as soon as Le Tote receives your package, they send you your next Tote. You can repeat that as much as you want...I'm anxiously waiting for my first tote package!!!! The main thing I'm worried about is size. It seems like every designer has a different fit. I'm really curious to see if I will like it and if it's worth the monthly subscription. I'm going to give it a 30 day trial.
Here is the site if you are interested.
I think they deliver dresses, often. In that case, I might have to get over my rule about not wearing dresses to work.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some throwbacks. I came across this picture, while searching through my running images.

Oh, and this makes me miss my ELEMENT. It also makes me miss running in compression socks. It's too hot for that, these days.

We were at the ft. worth zoo run and Cheyenne hated that panda.

Bins, Trash Bags, String & a Marker is All You Need
Happy Friday! Do you have big plans? For me, it's just like a weeknight, since I have to work tomorrow.
Well, this is a follow-up post to 28 & Feeling Great. In that entry, I talked about organizing Cheyenne's and soon to be Dakota's -- baby clothes and said I'd share that whole process. So, here it is.
This is the walk-in closet, the girls will share. The top level is Chey's and the bottom is Dakota's. This is what you see when you open the closet (pic on the left) and this is what you see when you look to the right (pic on the right). I think Dakota has plenty of diaper bags. Hey, a girl needs to accessorize!

So, it was real smart of me to hang up all the baby clothes before washing them. I went to college, y'all! Now, I will have to strip them from the hangers and run them through the washer and dryer and hang them again. Who wants to have a laundry party????
Dakota has plenty of clothes, there is still another bag of new clothes that people got her from all the baby showers. I haven't touched that bag yet, but it's on my list of things to do.

Krista made me these temporary separation tags, until I buy the plastic kind. I dunno, they seem to be doing the trick....

I could only hang up so many baby clothes for Dakota, so the rest of the clothes are waiting patiently on the floor.

Now, here is the meat of this whole organizational process. Krista helped me separate the clothes by months and also by seasons. Pretty cool, huh?

I guess, what I learned, is you don't have to spend a lot of money or get all fancy with containers to organize. Bins, trash bags, string and a marker will do the trick.

Lululemon Design Meeting!
Last week, I was invited to the Lululemon design meeting. They invited 8 people both men and women from the athletic community. I was beyond ecstatic that I was invited! THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
I believe I was the only guest who is not a coach (running, yoga, pilates, crossfit etc...). However, I was told I'm a "hardcore runner and active in the running community" <---- I can't argue with that. You'd be surprised how many people ask me for running advice and have questions about workout clothes. It's quite flattering and I'm always happy to chat. Plus, this blog has provided a unique platform for me to share my training and give product feedback on clothes and shoes.
About the Meeting:
During the meeting we discussed trends in athletics, performance apparel, fabrics, fit and function. Also: We all had our favorite workout clothes that were not Lulu. I brought a bag full of Nike gear, yeah I have a few. We shared why we like those specific products. It felt like a show and tell. Our feedback will be submitted to the lulu designers. For participating I received a $100 dollar lulu gift card. NO WAY! SWEET!

Cool Raceback: $39
I got this top in aruba blue.
This top is quite long on me, but I think it's a perfect top for layering in the winter. It will also be great as a light summer top. The material is so soft.

Run Speed Skirt! $54.
I've always wanted one! I ran in this outfit during last week's half marathon race. I was concerned the running skirt would be too sexy...you know maybe it would ride up while I was running and expose my butt...but it DIDN'T! The inner lining, which is shorts, kept me covered and it felt like I was wearing my favorite pair of shorts. Fashion meets function. Love it and there is nothing better than passing a guy during a race when you are wearing a skirt!

Super Cute! I'm so gonna wear this every weekend and when I'm out and about.
A place for my GU gels.

The Back of My Closet
It seems like the last couple of weeks, my normal size pants are getting tighter and tighter. Now I have a place in my closet I refer to as: the dark corner. The dark corner is where I hang some of my favorite pants that don't fit anymore :(
Goodbye little clothes. I'll see you in a few months.
Oh, the crazy things that happen to a womans body during pregnancy. Only 20 more weeks of this and I get to meet Cheyenne. It'll all be worth it!
