This morning we finalized all the paperwork and official bought the airstream. We are excited and can't wait to take our first trip! I filmed the interior of it, so you can see it. It looks as good as new to us! The crew at the RV shop did a great job cleaning it!

I Might Be Mentioning More About This...
In a recent post, I wrote this about looking at RVs…
"We'll see how much Trey can convince me. If we get one, I'll be sure to write about it and if I never mention it again, you'll know it didn't happen."
Looks like I'll be mentioning this more often. We are buying a used flying cloud airstream. It is a 2014 model. It was for sale for three hours, before Trey and I decided to buy it.. I still can't believe the deal we got on it. After looking at the new Airstreams, I was convinced we wouldn't be able to make the numbers work, but since it is older and used - it makes financial sense.
I think our first outing with her will be in November!
If you'd like to see the the interior via Airstream - here is a link of the 2016 model. The 2014 and 2016 model look similar to me.
Trey and Dakota…just a few weeks ago in the '16 show model.

Crafting on the Porch
The weather lately, has been incredible. It's a pleasant break from the summer temps. It's actally nice enough to go outside on the porch and play.
The other day, trey ordered some parts for his truck and the girls used the box as their clubhouse. They crafted all over it. When the sun started to go down, we moved the box to the backyard.

If I Could, I'd Live in an Airstream
Trey wants a camper.
I'm not as open to the idea, but Trey is pretty convincing when he wants something.
For kicks, we toured an Airstream. If you've ever looked up the MSRP you know they are pricey! But I'll tell you what....I walked into that Airstream and I was like, I WANT THIS. I could see myself traveling the US or parking it when not in use and using it as an office. How cool would that be? A girl can dream.
Here is the living area of one we are considering. I'm not sure a camper would be a good fit for our lifestyle, but we are thinking about it. We'll see, how much Trey can convince me. If we get one, I'll be sure to write about it and if I never mention it again, you'll know it didn't happen.

Two Things I'm Loving
#1 Ona Brixton Leather Camera Bag
Isn't it lovely? It has 3 slots for a camera and lenses. It even fits my 70-200mm lens. Dakota is impressed!
I like to call it my sexy bag.
For the past two years I've been using the Kelly Moore Posey2, (that particular bag has been discontinued). I still use it for everyday use, but I wanted a bigger bag and better quality. I'm so pleased with the ONA Brixton.
#2 Braids
Rosa, the girls childcare provider, loves braiding the girls hair. Several times a week, they come home with the cutest braids.

Backyard Wedding in South Dakota
My sweet friend Jeri got married, last weekend. Here are a few snapshots from her weekend wedding.
Friday afternoon, I flew into Sioux Falls. Jeri and Meg picked me up from the airport and we headed straight to the rehearsal. I finally, met the groom - Kyle!
All of Jeri's friends and family were so nice. After the rehearsal, I headed back to Jeri's apartment. We were in bed somewhat early.
Saturday, our day started at Panera Bread and then the salon.
Jeri was so laid back and cool the entire morning. By mid-morning she was ready for the wedding and we had enough time, she decided to have a first look with Kyle, before the ceremony. That was such a sweet moment. I know she'll be writing a post about the wedding, so if you'd like to see more pictures or hear about more details you can follow her blog at http://jerbear8.blogspot.com
It was such a great weekend!!! I'm so happy for Jeri, Kyle and their pug Ollie!
