For several weeks, Trey and I have been participating in cell group. For a while we didn't participate because of a number of reasons...time being number one. But since then, we've re-prioritize things. This month we are hosting at our house. Fun stuff. The couple that hosts, usually cooks the main course and then the other couples bring sides. The ladies in my group know that cooking the main dish (for all of us) may be difficult for me to do, since I'm rushing from work to home, so they've offered to help out as much as possible with meals. Tonight, we're doing something easy, so I was able to handle it. Thank you crockpot! Beans and sweet cornbread and for the health conscious (me), I made a batch of wheat germ muffins. I will have to post that recipe later.
On the topic of bible studies:
I'm about to take on another study group. The program is called Apples of Gold. It's a mentoring program and there will also be cooking demonstrations. I'm not familiar with the program, but several women, at my church asked me to consider it. Initially, I thought -- no way, I can't squeeze this into my busy schedule, but then later changed my mind. Why can't I? I'm running in the mornings and this is only a few weeks long..I can do it. I'm looking forward to see what God has in store for me.
