Pool Experience and Date Night

Yesterday, we went for a swim, over at Chip and Amanda's.
Mom and Chey
It took Cheyenne a while to get use to the water, but after a few minutes she started to get excited.
Baby Splash
Her swim trunks were a little big, but they did the job. Amanda's son, Jacob, had a pack leftover from last summer.
Swimming Diaper
While we were swimming, Trey and Chip walked over to the Colonial to watch the PGA Tour golf event. It was a great day to be out in the sun. We all put on a nice coat of sun block.

Other than swimming, Trey and I had a nice date Saturday evening. I made all the arrangements. I lined up the babysitter, made reservations for dinner and entertainment; all Trey had to do was show up. We had dinner downtown at Ferre Ristorante e Bar, a Tuscan restaurant and from there we walked to Hyena's, a comedy club. Other than this club, I've been to one comedy place in LA, but this was Trey's first comedy club experience. It was nice planning this date and I hope we don't wait too long before planning another one.

Our neighbors, who are expecting their first baby, watched Cheyenne for us. Thank goodness they didn't have any problems with her. We rarely have issues during bedtime, but you never know . I proposed to our neighbors, when they have their baby and want to go out, we can watch their baby for them. We have a group of Seminary friends who do the same thing and it's seem to work for them...that way we don't have to pay for a babysitter, we'll just take turns watching each others kids. Our neighbors like that idea and I like the connivence of them being so close.
