We spent Thanksgiving in Abilene. We spent our first round at Trey's Parents house and then drove a few miles down the road to my mom's house for seconds. I love that both of our parents live in the same town.
Trey's mom was out of state, spending time with an ill relative (we missed her!), so Shelly (Trey's sister) played pilot and did a marvelous job. We ate right at noon, just like, she had planned and the food was great. My favorite was the mashed potatoes.
Jason, her husband helped out a lot too. He wasn't intimidated to be in the kitchen.
Did someone say butta?
While we were busy, prepping lunch, Trey and the birthday girl were busy cuddling.
Dakota spent at least an hour with Danny and Kathy, just being quite and starring off.
After lunch, we sang happy birthday to Cheyenne.
