Rock STAR!!!! & No Plan (Wo)Man

SHE'S BAD TO THE BONE! Cheyenne's First Guitar
Little thing, got her first guitar from Uncle Bubba. She loves it! He even got her a little portable amp, that goes with it.

In similar fashion, my first guitar was also a flying v. I bought it for about 70 bucks at a pawn shop, when I was thirteen. My next guitar, was an acoustic Jasmine Takamine, also purchased from a pawn shop.

No Plan (Wo)Man
I'm training for the Cowtown Half Marathon. There is a training program posted to Cowtown's Website. Here is the link.

I've been using the long runs as a guide, but for the most part I run whatever I feel like. For instance, this morning I woke up and thought, I want to run at least three miles, but when I completed 3, I felt like going for two more. I kind of love this training method. Would I recommend it? No, but it seems to be working for me. It actually makes me want to run more because I don't have a calendar telling me what to do. Does that make sense? The reason why I think this works for me, is because I have been running and have a solid base of miles under my belt, another thing -- since I'm not trying to set any PR's (personal records) I don't have to run fast. Yay!

Speaking of running fast (Pace).....
For a while now, I've been keeping track of my run time and posting to DailyMile. Call me a dork, but I like looking at all the numbers, not just the miles. BUT the further I get along in my pregnancy the more I know I will need to scale back my intensity. I'm already seeing it. I use to run effortlessly at a 9:25'ish pace and these days, on a flat course, I'm comfortable at 10:15 - 10:30. So, I've decided to stop posting my run duration/pace for the world to see. I may post it every now and then and even share some numbers on the blog with you all, but I know by making the decision to not post it EVERYDAY, like I have been, I will relieve MYSELF of the stress to compete with myself.

I'm sure when I'm postpartum, I will go back to posting my time, until then it's all miles on deck!
