This morning I stayed close to home, just circling my neighborhood. I did this so I didn't have to worry about carrying my water bottle. It was nice having my own water station every time I circled a mile radius. Looking at my split times makes me wonder....I don't know why I felt the need to push myself this morning, but I did. It may have been because I ran 20 miles last week and 10 miles felt like it should be faster. During the run I felt fine, but after a few hours and even now, my left hip is TIGHT. The rest of the week, I'm going to do my best to bring my intensity down and save my energy for Saturday morning. I'm thinking I need to hang out in the 9:50 pace range.
