For the most part, Cheyenne speaks her own language. For example, when she wants me to pick her up, she'll say, HO-SHOE! I think she's trying to say, hold you.
Every now and then she'll say something and I have no idea what she's talking about. I can usally get by, if I shake my head in agreement, but it gets ugly when she trying to tell me what she wants. Then she repeats it over and over again, and that gives me enough time to process and translate.
In other news, I got a conformation email from the Palo Duro race director, conforming my participation in the 50K trail race this fall. Now, I need to figure out my training plan and how many weeks I want to train. This is when the running geek in me, gets excited. Sometimes making a training plan is almost as fun as training for the race.
I didn't blog about it earlier, but I did go on a trail run Saturday morning. It was gorgeous and I'm craving more. My plan is to take notes and get more familiar with the route. I don't want to run in and out all the time. I would like to find a loop on the trail. It may be several weeks before I feel more confident on this route.
