The following evening we had dinner with friends at an Italian grill, so when Valentine's Day rolled around, we decided we'd rather stay in. I offered to take Cheyenne to church, where they had childcare available, but Trey said he preferred spending time with both of us. AWWWW, that's like a bazillion brownie points.
So yesterday, Trey came home, like a hero with flowers and immediately turned into a villain by showing up with loads of sweets. Actually, he was replenishing his candy stash, since Saturday I gifted him a bunch of candy and apparently I ate more than my fair share. On that same note, he got Cheyenne some Dora gummy fruit and gave us both flowers. Seriously, thanks.
The bouquet of flowers.
Cheyenne with her flower. BTW I love her eyes in this photo. You have to click this photo to view it in a bigger size. Wow, her eyes are stunning.
Mmmm, it smells good.
Happy and in love.
When Trey first brought these flowers home, they looked like death. He said that, not me, but I had to agree. Once they sat in water for a while they seemed to come to life. I told him the day before, if he planned on giving us flowers please don't get us roses. I love roses, but it seems like this time of year they are crazy expensive. Save yourself 40 - to $$ bucks and I'll love the colorful arrangement more.
