Wainscoting. Making Progress.

Making Progress

Earlier this week, Trey ran out of material to continue the bedroom renovation. So, he went to the supply house and picked up more wood. Now, he should have everything he needs to complete this part of the project. After this, all we need to do is prime the walls and paint. Trey is still trying to figure out what to do about the crown molding situation. Our ceilings have funky angles, so it makes his job a little more challenging. If anyone can figure it out, he can.

We've thrown some ideas around about what to do with the ceiling....Possibly put bead board or stain it or paint it or texture it or put in a three level tray ceiling. Oh, the possibilities.

I'm in the process of archiving old photos and I stumbled across pictures from our first home in Abilene. That was the house that I wanted to live in forever. Talking about ceilings, check out this impressive ceiling. Most of the woodwork was like this when we bought it, but Trey added the chair rail.

This house was built in 1927. This is the other half of the living area. I have more pictures, I might do another post about this house.
