We decided to have a little get together. Cheyenne wanted to invite 3 girls from school and luckily all three were available to attend. We had a blast!

Cheyenne's Birthday Party
Saturday, we celebrated Cheyenne's birthday at Main Event.
We decided to have a little get together. Cheyenne wanted to invite 3 girls from school and luckily all three were available to attend. We had a blast!

A Five Year Old Can Bowl Better Than Me
Unfortunately, Trey had to work Saturday night - but that didn't stop us girls from going out and having fun, instead of it being family time with Trey, it ended up being a girls night out.
My niece was also with us. Chey played using the kiddie bumpers, I should also mentioned she won both games. I suck so bad at bowling. I won't embarrass myself and mention my score. We all had fun and that's the main thing that counts, right??? Watch this clip, I love the way Cheyenne celebrates.
After bowling, I sent Trey this message: Don't be mad, but I'm letting the girls eat in the car.
Ok, he doesn't get mad, but he gets pretty annoyed when there are crumbs in the car....I don't blame him. By no means are we perfect or rigid, but we attempt to keep the car "a dinning free area." But you've gotta let loose every now and then....
In case you are wondering, we went to sonic.

My Week in Photos & Patio Makeover
Sometimes being little is hard. Dakota wanted to bowl.
When Daddy works late, we stay in - watch My Little Pony, paint nails and braid hair.
Here is an example of the type of things I text message Trey.
I'm in the process of sprucing up the patio. This is my birthday gift to myself. My 30th birthday is April 30th. With Trey's business and my work, the likelihood that I can travel leisurely is not likely, so this is my b-day gift to myself (and the family).
This is just a little bit of the makeover. It's not glamorous, but it's a nice space to sit and play with the kids. I plan on adding a few more things. I'd love to get the girls a sandbox and playhouse.
Other wish list items:
Rug, Ceiling Fan, BBQ pit (ours died last year) and a storage bin for toys.
Solar lanterns A bird bath thingy and bird feeder

Celebrating at the Bowling Alley
Saturday night, we celebrated Trey's 30th birthday at the bowling alley. He's in a league and bowls with the guys once a week, but yesterday we bowled just for fun.
It looks like Dakota is attacking Cheyenne. LOL!
I suck at bowling. I need to use the kiddie ramp and bumpers like Cheyenne. I'm not even joking. I want to say my score typically ranges around 50 - 80.
There were a few times, she got a strike.
Cheyenne's hair is getting long, again. I've asked her if we should cut it short, but she doesn't want to.

My Week in Photos
Someone in the family joined a bowling league. Not me, Trey. Once a week, him and the guys meet for bowling. So, cute...I mean cool.
Yesterday, Cheyenne enjoyed Dakota's sick day, a little too much. She was dancing around the living room and refused to take off her PJs.
Around noon, I had to bribe her to put normal clothes on. I promised her candy, but then she forgot, so I forgot. Oops!
Since Cheyenne was a good girl and didn't scream (too much), when she got her shots at the doctors office, Trey took her out for ice cream. I didn't mention that yesterday, she also had a doctors appointment. It was her 4 year old wellness appointment.
Have a good weekend. We have family coming to town -- so we'll be having fun with them.

Our First Experience at Main Event
The other night, Chey and I met up with friends at main event entertainment. You can bowl, arcade, laser tag and play pool. It's basically, a giant playground.
A+ for black lighting
This was my first experience at MEE and Chey's first bowling adventure.
They had extra small bowling balls, for the kids. We'll have to take her bowling again, but next time with Trey. He was working late, so he couldn't join us. Booo!
I was giving her pointers, since I took a bowling course in college.
Obviously, I learned nothing from that class because even the babies beat me.
SHE = Cheyenne. DOM = loser
Merriah is celebrating because she knows I suck at bowling. And Heather had a terrible game, but at least she wasn't dead last.
Even the baby was happy.

Now, I want to go back and play to show I can do better than a 41 score. RE-MATCH!
