We've been visiting family in Port Lavaca. The last time we were here was for Cheyenne's baby shower, over three years ago. Today, is our last day in town. The last two days, I've been running beachside, since our hotel room is so close to the waterfront.
Yesterday, I ran this same area about 4 miles and then met up with Susan and Stephanie for a few more miles. The ocean breeze and sunrise was beautiful. I love Texas. I love beaches. I love my family.
In my dream world I would love to have a beach house. One day when I'm rich.
Halfmoon Reef Lighthouse built in 1852. I remember taking a tour of the lighthouse when I was in grade school. It's weird how when you are little everything seems huge and then when you return as an adult, the things that seemed so big back then now appear smaller. That's how I feel about this lighthouse.
