Yesterday, we celebrated Brianna's third birthday. There was pizza, cupcakes and a play-doh station for the kids. When I was younger, my mom never bought me any play-doh because she said it's too messy. I don't mind if Cheyenne plays with it, as long as she stays at the table.
This morning, I skipped another morning run. I think I'm going through a I-don't-want-to-run-because-I-have-to-run-PHASE. This feels like middle school cross country all over again. Some people, assume I ran track in high school, but the only running experience I had was middle school track (hurdles) and cross country. When it came to jumping hurdles, I thought I was big stuff, but then I went to my first track meet. I was humbled. I sucked, big time.
This evening before dinner, I ran four miles. Those numbers should help with my 1,500 mile running goal for the year. Tomorrow, I'll look at the numbers and see how far behind I am. I feel like it's a hopeless cause, but whatever --- I'm going to keep going...
Here is everything I've been craving, lately. I made this for lunch and it was so delicious. This is kind of what my weekday lunches look like. Not bad. Oh, on the last post I wrote Trey got the 16 oz ribeye, it was actually a 12 oz. Same difference. It was huge.
