Dallas-Fort Worth 100 degree heat streak has come to an end, but not before the killer sun zapped my garden. We had something like 40 days without rain.
In early June, I stopped hand watering the garden and decided I'd let the sprinkler system do all the work. It was fine for a while, but in the end - the garden was no match for this hell-like weather.
The Thyme seems to be going strong
And somehow the rosemary is hanging on
Cilantro, is that you?
This is just sad, it makes me want to cry. All this and we didn't even break the 1980 heat streak. If you're going to kill my garden, at least do it by doing it BIG-TIME with a record!
