SOMEBODY got their pizza fix. Paleo Pizza Party, in my mouth!
I made the crust using Almond Meal. Now, I'm wondering how in the world did I go so long without knowing about this stuff? You should've told me. Oh, wait did you know about it? I feel like if I know I'm going to eat almond meal, I should stay away from eating nuts that day.
The pizza was great, but I do feel like the recipe needs to be perfected, it's missing something. I plan on making it again. I may try to add some herbs to the crust and maybe a bit of honey and also make the crust thinner. This recipe was inspired by Mark's Daily Apple, however unlike that recipe, the one I made is strictly paleo, no cheese, just loads of veggies, pork loin and homemade sauce.
So, what is everyone doing this weekend?
This is what I have planned:
Running, shopping (tax free BABY!), napping, running more, luncheon with friends, taking photos, tend to my compost, watch a movie; Limitless, and maybe go swimming. Whew! Oh, yeah and somehow I've got to find time in there to edit a freelance video project I'm working on. Have a good weekend!
