Justin and I have decided Dallas doesn't need Brittany, the Fort needs her more. Operation, get Brittany to Cowtown is priority #1.
Notice how they are carrying water, I had some too (not pictured). This heat is no joke. I'm sure between running this morning and walking at least a mile at the zoo, I managed to sweat a gallon of human fluid. LOVELY.

Cheyenne enjoyed everything about the zoo.
She even surprised me, when she fed a bird.
Yummy mystery food.

Earlier I mentioned, we walked at least a mile at the zoo, I know this because Justin was using his Runkeeper App. He eventually turned it off because the voice alerts were alerting him every second. Brittany had no problems telling him it was annoying her. Ha!
Cool water.
Isn't this the cutest elephant? I believe her name is Bonnie.

After the zoo, we went out for lunch at Smashburger. I was surprised that I was able to stick to Paleo. I got a harvest chicken salad with greens, seeds and dried berries. Delicious. I'm glad that had salads because I was not looking forward to a naked burger.
How often do you go to the zoo? We try to go at least once a year.
