Dinning Out, Paleo Style

Linda spent the day and night with us, on Monday. We spent the day window shopping and ended our night with a dip in the pool. Just so you know, saltwater on an open wound stings! Just a quick update, my knee is healing fine and it has not interfered with my running. Thank you, Jesus.

Linda is 20 something weeks pregnant and she's been craving Chipotle. So guess what we had for dinner?
Chipotle Cravings
I stuck with the challenge and ordered like the world was watching....
No corn, no beans, no rice ---- no smile? Well, it was good, but not filling. I usually always make my salads double that size, but it kept me full until I got home to eat more.
Chipotle Paleo Style
Cheyenne enjoyed the kids meal, but you better believe I was eyeballing her cheese quesadilla. OH, and don't even get me started on their chips! DON'T!

For those of you who are doing the challenge:
Is it hard for you to stick with paleo, when dinning out?
A few days ago, Trey and I went out to eat and I ordered steak and veggies. That was easy considering we were at steakhouse. Now, if we were at Five Guys....that would be a different story.

Here is my Palo Duro Training from last week. I was sick, but still managed to workout 3 times. This week, I'm back on track with the training. I've completed 3 of my 3 workouts -- so far. 3 down, 3 more to go before Monday.

Side note: I think it's time for me to start shoe shopping, again. I have 100 miles left on both road and trail sneakers.

  1. Jimmy Johns on Bryant irvin you can get all your sandwiches as an unwich(wrapped in lettuce)...wasn't planning on eating out, but ended up doing so tues. night. I got the Beach Dream (or something like that) as an unwich, double meat, no mayo or cheese...so good. It had turkey, bean sprouts, avocado, tomato, and cucumber. Also, Mooyah is a burger place over here by us and is VERY kid friendly and they have lettuce wrap buns for their burgers, even have turkey and veggie burgers if that's your thing (I like the turkey).
