Distance: 8 Miles
Duration: 01:25:00
Average Pace Per Mile: 10:35
Weather: 72 degrees at the start and HOT at the end. Super Windy.
Is it just me or is it warming up sooner this year? I mean, it's only April! I felt sluggish, wind-blown, and sore during this run. Several times I thought about walking, but that's not my style, so I kept my arms pumping and my legs moving. However, I obviously stopped several times to take photos. That gave me a chance to catch my breath.
There is something about running on rocks and uneven terrain that really wears me out --- fast. I still enjoy it, but I'm not use to this kind of running. I have to say, it makes me feel like a kid, especially when I'm going downhill and leaping over puddles. Whee!
Here are some panoramic views of the trail: Here is a 360 view html view HERE.
I just want to sing praise songs when I'm running out here.
Horse back riding, anyone? I'll take the white one.
