Bluebonnets: Take One

Every year, I like to take photos of Cheyenne in the bluebonnets. Yesterday, we went at the wrong time of the day. Even though the sun casted some harsh shadows, I still got a few cute shots. I'm going to try to get outside again and take more photos, before the bluebonnets disappear.

Do you guys like to take photos of your little ones/love ones in a field of bluebonnets? It seems quite popular around here. Our neighborhood is known for blooming gobs of bluebonnets, so it makes our photo trip convenient.

I love this photo.

Did everyone have a good weekend? We did! I discovered that running trail. I thought it would be nice to take Cheyenne and Trey, so we tried to walk it and quickly realized, the trail is not toddler friendly. We left as soon as we arrived. :/

I was glad Trey had a chance to see, at least a little bit of, where I run. I'm really good about sending him a Glympse - it's an app I have on my phone. Basically, it's a GPS tracking type of text message. He can see my progress in real-time....how fast I'm going and exactly where I'm running.  BUT it's one thing to see me running, on an online map and another to see the trail in real life. I think he was impressed with the trail.
