Let's All Go to Six Flags

We have season passes, so let's all go to Six Flag every weekend.
We took the ford focus....don't ask me how Trey got the baby jogger/stroller in the trunk. I have no idea. I tried once and never tried again.

Expect to see more pictures throught the summer of six flags. If you want to go with us, let me know...we have a book of discounted ticket prices so we can take guests!!!

Hands-On At Home for Trey & At Work For Me

I've been working the last two days long hours. I've been recording a seminar in Dallas. Trey has been helpful, especially today. He's been watching the girls. Thanks for being a hands on Dad, Trey!

My office at the Omni Hotel
I've mentioned it before, but I want to say it again. I'm really impressed with the Omni Hotel customer service. Both times, I've been there they have accommodated me when I need a private lactation room. Yesterday, during lunch, the hotel restaurant got slammed with customers. The management felt terrible because the group that I was hired to videotape, did not get their food right away -- which in turn set us off schedule -- so today they provided a complimentary smoothie bar. Yum!

The Best Part

The best part of this weekend get-away has not been sight-seeing, food, or the time off from work. It's been spending time with my love ones.

This afternoon, the girls and I spent three hours in the hotel lobby waiting for Trey's class to dismiss. The girls sat with me and although they were not perfect, they were well behaved and that's all a mom can ask from an infant and a toddler. I'm very pleased with how they acted.



After Trey's class was done, we drove to San Marcos and for the first time, I paid myself from my business account. Yeah, for the first time a made a purchase that didn't have anything to do with camera gear. I treated myself to four pieces of clothing from Lululemon (outlet!!!!) You guys, retail therapy feels so good!

Weekend Get-Away & Spending the Day in Gruene, Texas

This weekend, Trey has business to take care of - near the San Antonio area, so the girls and I decided to tag-along. While he was in class (study to get his contractors license), the girls and I spent the day in the charming town of Gruene.



There was a kid festival, so we spent a few hours there. We got a few free goodies, like puree pouches from Happy Baby, toothbrushes, toys, a jump rope and more.
We took a minute to pause and take a picture by the Guadalupe river.
